I have a lot of old works in my DeviantART account, so I’ll start publishing them here in this blog in batches! “Hessu Industries Vintage Editions” is a fancy name for that, haha.
Let’s start with my Super Mario Mushroom Kingdom Posters!
Dun-dun-duu!
Oh, and I have a short story of Super Mario: Mushroom Kingdom as well!
Happy New Year one and all!
With love,
Hessu
Here is my new fan art poster for the upcoming superhero movie, The Avengers.
Not much to say about this one, it was nice to design a poster again after a long break.
Fun fact: the Iron Man in the poster is an action figure of mine that I photographed.
I used explosion stock from Manged in the photo.

I made this fan art wallpaper for a band I just heard of, Zapping Zillion Zombies. The funny thing is I have only heard one of their songs! The only one they have released so far. The song is called iwannaeat1upmushroom and you can listen to it in Zapping Zillion Zombies’s Facebook page!
The song just sounded great to me and I listened to it in repeat for many times. I’m looking forward to new material for the band!
I hope some of y’all can dig the song too, and this wallpaper!
Hey all, and welcome to my new blog!
I’m Hessu, and I use the name MisterHessu online. I live in Helsinki, Finland, and I love all kinds of art and design and create both myself. I am a studying media in a vocational school, so I do graphic design and other media-related things at school, though I do most of my creative work on my free time.
I’ll jump right to the art, because that is the main purpose of this blog: sharing my art to the world. Oh, all my published works can be found in my DeviantART profile:
And now to the art content of this first post! I like photographing toys and action figures, and I actually have 30 folders from 30 photoshoots on my computer hard drive, all shot with action figures and toys. I love how I can make a mini studio on my desk with a few lights and props. It’s awesome because working on such a mini studio is very similar to real studio work, just in a different scale.
I shot these particular photos yesterday, after a long break from shooting toys. The last photoshoot with toys I did was three months ago.
I wanted to have a clear theme for these photos. I hope you can see it yourself, and I don’t want to spoil the theme. Please tell me what you see in these photos! Tell me what you think, constructive feedback is recommendable!
Check out the rest of the photos after the jump!
